Ongoing Renovation of an apartment in Monte Sacro, Rome Monte Sacro is the 16th district of Rome and has a relevant urban history, being one of the first areas modeled after Ebenezer Howard's ‘garden city’ in Italy’s 1920s. In the 1950s residential buildings started to replace some of the one-family houses of the 20s, to achieve urban densification of the neighbourhood.
The apartment is located on the top floor of one of these residential buildings.
A comprehensive refurbishment of the flat is progress.
